Winter has set in. The chill ensuring I rarely leave my home. Or my bed and a good book (this week has been Psykhe by Kate Forsyth). My poor neighbours have been neglected as my anti-social metre is high. Despite this, Phil still thinks I’m a party! Thanks, mate!

I haven’t come to hate the snow yet. It’s definitely a pretty time of year in game, but I think if I were actively decorating at the moment I would be finding the excessive blanket of snow a bit much to deal with. It was nice to see that it wasn’t too cold for Celeste or Flick to come and visit Lunamori!

There have been some lovely sunny days still, and a fire outside of Resident Services has been keeping villagers and visitors nice and toasty while they share the latest gossip with each other.

There have been plenty of opportunities to help out friends on Lunamori, which is always delightful! I’m still puzzled as to why Olivia wanted a wharf roach … suspicions have been growing as to whether or not it’s a pet, or being taken captive to be used as an ingredient in a super secret spell Olivia is working on.

My birthday twin decided it was time for another visit to Lunamori this week too! Always delightful to see Fauna wandering around my island. I wonder when she’ll finally decide to move in as a resident!

The biggest news on Lunamori this week has definitely been that Phil and I are officially besties! I’m so excited! … I wonder if he’ll ask to leave before Billy! Billy will truly be outlasting everyone on Lunamori at this rate!

While I was on my gift-giving spree that day, I accidentally gave Biff an item in my bag rather than the gift I’d wrapped especially for him! Oops! Not to worry though, I just put the original gift aside ready for the next day, and honestly? He’s rocking that yellow giant bow!

Gayle is here with our weekly wisdom this week! Remember that you also deserve nice things, my friends.

Real talk: Is there a trick to making the perfect snowboy?
I’ve not yet mastered the art yet this winter, and it’s rather embarrassing having an army of snowboys around the island who are all at least a little cross with me for making them incorrectly. Plus, it means they’re holding out on me and not giving me any of the special DIYs I just know they have.

Chelsea is always such a sweetheart with the way she encourages the other villagers on the island, which was why I was so surprised when I caught her trolling Mott. Trying to keep a straight face during this one was no easy feat!
(Do we reckon there’s something going on there? Is she flirting with him right now?)

My advice as the cooler weather takes hold around Lunamori? Rug up and keep toasty! If you want to see your neighbours, consider paying them a visit in their nice toasty homes. We don’t want any of you getting sick! If you were lucky enough to visit Able Sisters earlier in the week, you would have been able to purchase a Royal Crown (if you had the cool 1,200,000 bells, of course), but if a crown isn’t your thing, you should still check out their winter stock to help keep you both warm and cool!
